CHASING GHOSTS

In their quest to identify the pollinator of the ghost orchid, a team spent three summers standing waist-deep in alligator- and snake-laden water, swatting air blackened by mosquitoes, and climbing to nausea-inducing heights. They came away with an even deeper love for Florida's wildest wetlands - and with surprising revelations that may help to conserve the endangered orchid and its shrinking home.

However, the quarantined Ötztal and the applicable restrictions make it difficult for them to travel home

British climber Hazel Findlay heads to Utah for a face-off with an immaculate 230-foot splitter crack; Concepción (5.13), located in the southwest desert near Moab. “I guess I got my ass kicked a little bit,” says Hazel. “Performance anxiety comes because you put too much pressure on yourself. But if you have low expectations, then there’s no pressure anymore.” Ironically, as Hazel points out in this film, success happens when “You just kind of let yourself climb."

MYRTLE SIMPSON - A LIFE ON ICE

In 2018, National Geographic named Myrtle Simpson as one of four women who defied expectations and explored the world. She has experienced places most people only dream about, all while writing 13 books, collecting specimens for museums and raising four children. Today, at the age of 89 she still competes in downhill ski races, hikes, bikes and swims, and believes that more adventures await.
